The whole of the mountain communities commonly called "Big Bear" is better phrased as "Big Bear Valley"
Three distinct areas comprise our mountain community.
Big Bear Lake is the far west end of the valley and is the center of the action.
Big Bear City & Sugarloaf are known as the east end of the valley and are more residential and full-time.
Fawnskin is the north shore of the lake.
